6 oz bittersweet chocolate, or 70% cocoa solids dark chocolate
4 tbs heavy cream
Optional, for flavor, 1 tsp Cointreau or Grand Marnier, or even brandy or whiskey!
Can also add zest from 1/2 an orange, for extra punch of chocolate oranginess.
Set up a double boiler: Pour 2in of water in a pot. Place a separate bowl (Not touching the water) over the simmering water. Add chocolate and cream and melt, stirring frequently. Add flavorings. Pour mixture into serving bowl. Serve with pretzel sticks (as shown in photo), strawberries, pineapple pieces, vanilla wafers, pieces of pound cake, apples, peaches... the possibilities are endless!!
