1 ripe but not mushy banana
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Splash of orange liqueur
First melt the chocolate in a double boiler and add the liqueur, stirring to create a smooth consistency. Slice the banana in coins and carefully coat the fruit with the chocolaty mixture. Place the finished coins on parchment and freeze for about an hour, or until the chocolate is set and the banana is semi-frozen. Alternatively, one could freeze these overnight if you prefer a more solid treat, or if you are using them as a garnish on a larger dessert. Enjoy!
